Argentine cryptocurrency platform launches operations in Brazil and Mexico

SatoshiTango, an Argentine cryptocurrency platform, recently launched its offices in Brazil. Argentina’s fintech sector grew significantly in 2018, and many startups are expanding their operations across the region.

SatoshiTango’s most recent expansion comes a year after opening offices in Mexico in December 2018. The startup enables its users to buy and sell bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum, ripple, and bitcoin cash.

“We offer local payment methods and the user can operate with his or her own currency,” said Matías Bari, SatoshiTango CEO and cofounder. He added, “We will start partnerships with local companies to expand the services we offer, as we do in Argentina.”

SatoshiTango has more than 100K users in Argentina and expects to quickly reach that number in Brazil and Mexico due to the market size.
