London Fintech company hosts webinar series to encourage conversation in the new post-Covid 19 era

Innovative blockchain-based Fintech company SETL have recently hosted the first seminars in a series designed to promote and encourage conversations about trade in our new post-Covid 19 era.

The first seminar focused on software development and banking, and included representatives from HSBC, Citi-Bank, and Deutsche Bank, among many others.

Steve Sullivan, SETL Managing Director of Strategic Relationships says: ‘We recognise the need for community connectivity during these difficult times. We thought this would be the perfect way to reach out to a wide variety of people and encourage a positive dialogue about the future of the Fintech industry in our new world.”

As we begin moving out of lockdown across the world, a few of the sectors that appear to have survived the global pandemic in the best shape possible are the Innovation, IT, Technology, and Fintech sectors. Future discussions around this will likely focus on these companies primarily operating high-tech communication systems that allowed and encouraged home-working and other innovative working practices long before lockdown.

Certainly SETL themselves have emerged as industry and thought leaders during this unprecedented period of time. SETL is dedicated to building blockchain-based solutions for Financial Markets, Asset Management and Payments. SETL’s core technology is proprietary, market leading and designed specifically for high performance, low latency regulated applications.

SETL is led by a team of financial service professionals who have extensive knowledge of the industry and deep expertise in both disruption and innovation. SETL provides an enterprise grade project service including planning, design, regulatory approval, development and deployment.

SETL has delivered major regulated distributed ledger technology into financial markets, using the new technology to change the speed and pace of current infrastructure.

President Peter Randall says: ‘These are difficult times, and it’s important we reach out and help each other, while ensuring that it’s practical and helpful advice and solutions that we’re offering to our colleagues and partners. We wanted our external partners to have a platform to speak to each other, to share advice and information, and to help each other to move out of this global pandemic in the best shape possible.’

SETL will be doing many more of these panels, with an immediate focus on the "Post Trade Post Covid" series.
