KPMG,PMI to help Project Management professionals in Cloud, Blockchain, AI, and IoT

KPMG has now joined forces with the Project Management Institute (PMI) to develop programs to help project management professionals.

Under this new deal, KPMG will help the PMI Members and certification holders adapt to a new working environment, said the announcement.

The main focus of the collaboration will be on emerging technologies, which include Cloud Computing, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet of Things that are transforming business processes.

PMI President and CEO, Sunil Prashara, said, "KPMG and PMI, working together on this initiative, will enable our two organizations to push the boundaries of project management in a world disrupted by digital and data. Technology changes are placing new demands on professionals, and this collaboration will help them to adapt and thrive. Our shared goal in this effort is to ensure that our stakeholders around the world are equipped to harness technology and shape change in the work they do."

Emerging Tech Initiatives by KPMG

In May 2019, last year, KPMG joined the Trusted IoT Alliance Organization to assist in the fastening of the expansion of a blockchain-enabled and trusted Internet of Things (IoT).

In the month of December 2019, KPMG revealed that it would invest around $5 billion in the coming five years to expand its offering that is highly focused on the digital transformation of professional services.

As a part of this new initiative, KPMG signed a five-year agreement with Microsoft to accelerate its capabilities with the help of AI and Cloud.

In the month of October 2019, to solidify tech services presence in aviation, banking, media, telecom, transportation, and consumer, KPMG partnered with the ServiceNow.
