Nike Earns Patent to Tokenize Shoes on Ethereum Network

Nike, a shoe manufacturing firm, has received a patent to tokenize shoes on Ethereum network, a document shared by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has indicated.

The patent grants Nike the sole owner of generating distinct Ids, while also owning the innovation to create ERC 721 tokens for shoes.

When physical shoes are obtained, buyers can easily unlock tokens. The tokens are then linked to unique IDs of the owners to show the tokens belong to them.
