Bitmain just came out with the new Antiminer D3, Monster of a miner , which is available to pre-order and will ship on September 15th. The price for the this Monster in pre-sale is $2699 USD, and these are the specification of this miner:

1. Specifications of the Antminer D3 are as follows:
a) Hash rate: 15 GH/s (Variation of ±5% is expected)
b) Power consumption: 1200W (at the wall, with Bitmain’s APW3 PSU, 93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temp).
c) Dimensions of the miner: 320*130*190mm

d) Weight:5.5kg

2. Power consumption figures will vary with your PSU's efficiency, the ambient operating temperature and the accuracy of the power meter.

3. Bitmain recommends use of the APW3++ PSU with the Antminer D3. One APW3++ PSU can not power more than one Antminer D3.

4.The shipping for this batch is expected to start on a first-order-first-ship basis after 15 September for orders that Bitmain has received full payment for. As this is the first batch of the Antminer D3, there can be unexpected delays in shipment due to an unforeseen demand.

5. All PCIe connectors on a hashing board need to be connected to the PSU for the hashboard to operate. Do not connect more than one PSU to the same hashing board!

6. Separate power supply to control board: there is one additional 6pin PCIe connector on the IO board which must be connected to the PSU to get power. Be sure to power on the miner only after all the PCIE connectors are connected to power supply.

So if your question was, why the Dash hash was so high, 10TH/s? You got your answer .

Nvidia, the market's best-performing stock, is going to launch graphics cards specifically designed for cryptocurrency mining through its partners.

Product listings for Nvidia-based and AMD-based cryptocurrency mining cards recently appeared on the website of ASUS, a leading maker of graphics cards.

"ASUS Mining P106 is designed for coin mining with high-efficiency components - delivering maximum hash-rate production at minimum cost," the product listing said. "ASUS Mining P106 enhances the megahash rate by up to 36% compared cards in the same segment that are not tailored for mining. The new card is also engineered to be seriously durable, enabling 24/7 operation for uninterrupted coin production."

The ASUS Mining P106 uses an Nvidia chip, according to the specifications page on the website.

The ASUS product listing for the Nvidia-based card is legitimate, according to a source familiar with the matter.

ANTMINER S9 REVIEW UPDATED – IS IT STILL PROFITABLE .

There was a time when anyone could mine Bitcoin using their gaming GPU’s. However, with the addition of new miners and mining farms to the global mining pools, the possibility to mine Bitcoin at home vanished – no GPU could deliver the required Bitcoin hashrate to be profitable.

This is why Bitmain, a China-based company developed and released a set of ASICs that are accessible to the casual miner and have a reasonable ROI, allowing common people like you and me to start mining Bitcoin once again.

The company is well-known for ASIC miner models such as the Antminer R4 and S7. As the Bitcoin difficulties rise, Bitmain issues new miners to keep up with the demand. Their latest Antminer S9 is the top-notch ASIC miner that uses 16nm chip technology to deliver superior hashrate.

There was a lot of talk about the Antminer S9 since it first came out. However, cryptocurrencies are volatile, and in this article I aim to review whether it’s still profitable to mine using the S9. I will also explain how to set it up properly. Let’s get started.
